The Evangelical Church of Ethiopia (Mekane Yesus), our Mother Church, is an Orthodox Lutheran body holding to Apostolic Succession — tracing its lineage back to the early Bishops of Rome through the Swedish line, and to the other apostles through various Scandinavian and Germanic lines.
